can say I've ever heard of that one....
did all of the old remnants get removed??
which plate was put back in?
haven’t reassembled, still trying to confirm which plate to use. And give my old body a chance to recover. 81 is too old to be upside down in the bilge.that's the right plate for that gear....using the wrong holes can cause misalignment....and noise from it.
how did the other holes work out?

I went on the Crusaderengine site and found the new 454 using the 5000 series velvet drive use part #98298 damper plate, I am going to try it. The one I have may also work, but I’m shy of reinstalling it, with noise I had last time. Not any easy job!
