Velvet drive output flange nut size... 1 3/4"??

I'm trying to figure out what size socket I need to remove the coupling nut to change the seal. I measure 43mm which is 1.69". I have only seen 1.5" posted as the nut size though so a bit of a mystery why this one is so much bigger.

(Just found another post so I'll leave this here for future searche). The other nut size is 1 11/16" or 43mm. I'll have to order one.

My gear guy says the 1 11/16" is the common one on the reduction gears....he also suggests a socket in "good shape" vs one that is worn out...in a pinch, you may find them at the auto part stores where the axle nut sockets are...

Mark - that's what I found out as well. I actually ordered two if anyone wants to buy the second off me. I'm trying to get this wrapped up this week and would rather have two than none...
