"Ok I have borg-warner velvet drives in my blackfin. I read people talking about v drives. I believe these are both transmissions. Is the V-drive used in applications where the motor is in backwards and is actually on top of or beside the shafts? In other words motor then trans/V-drive 180 or so degree change in direction, shaft, prop, stern of boat?"
