I have a Mariner 2-stroke 75Hp 2003 outboard. Yesterday when I went over 3000 rpm I got a warning tone. It was not a single tone, it came up as soon the boat moved up or down. Got down below 3000 rpm and the tone went out. At that time I travelled against the waves, but it was not so high waves. Could it be the the oil? I had the motor at service and I´ve justed it for 1 hour since then. Overheated?
