I just picked up a 1988 searay 100HP mercury engine, 16' bow rider. Stalls when shifting down to idle.
removed old gas, new primer bulb and hose. Replaced both filters. When I spray sea foam in the #2 air intake the engine runs smoother. Adjusting the fuel mix screw according to the manual brings it close to the idle but then it stalls each time. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. First time user on this forum.
