the yoke seal, to the best of my knowledge is a single lip seal. the deal will hold pressure but how much vacuum will it hold? drives me a little nuts at times thanks in advance ( alpha 1 gen 2 )

If I remember correctly, 6-8 inches/hg is enough to test seal integrity in Alpha

You should be aware,

The Yoke seal is to keep gear oil in, NOT water out. There is NO water in the bellows. If there was a need to keep water out they would have used a Back to back seal arrangement.
