Using Honda Computer

When tech uses the computer to diagnose a problem, is there something that must be unplugged or bypassed? If so, what would be the consequences of not reconnecting whatever was disconnected and then trying to run the engine? Would it run at all or just run extremely bad?

Hi Tompass
The computer plugs into a plug whose only point in life is to be there for the computer to connect to. It would not make any difference if it was left loose or replaced in the socket provided.
