Using hoist on boat

No this is not a motor question sorry. Any way I would like to here from some people about having my 2000 wellcraft 210 fisherman hoisted into the water instead of fighting the current for every launch/retrieval. I have a good sized eyelet where the anchor rope is tied off and the ski rings on back look to be good size. Is a boat this old ok to hoist or is it very risky.

I wouldn't lift from the eyes. these were designed for straight line pull parallel with the keel. This would put the eye's bolt in bending instead of tension.
Hoists I've seen us slings passed across the bottom of the hull.

Agree, only use a hoist with straps underneath the hull.
