New visitor from New Zealand - We operate a commerical water taxi using 2 x 200HP Hondas. The port motor - counter-rotator is using a lot more oil than the starboard. In fact the starboard runs well. Both motors have run 2500hrs. We have had the props matched and even swapped the gearboxes and while the fuel consumption has decreased the oil is still higher than expected. Now using a Shell product 15W40 in port and 10W40 in starboard. Oil analysis is normal. Any ideas please.
