Can someone identify the model year on a Mariner 40 Magnum ser# 0d016444

Are you sure 0D016444 is the correct serial number? It's suggesting the engine to be a 15-HP made in 1991.

I'm quite sure on the ser# and also that its a 40 hp 4 cylinder. Its only the year that I wasn't sure about. I did find a couple of other posts regarding serial # in the 0d series that were identified 1991 models. Thanks for confirming the year.
