"I've heard ya'll talking about ultrasonic cleaning of risers down at the radiator shop. Has anyone done this, and how effective is it at cleaning risers that are in fairly good shape. Anyone with knowlage of this process?"

the jewelery store in the mall cleans my gal's rings for free in their ultrasonic bath.... I suppose it would work....but so does poking with a coat hanger on some

"When treasure divers find old parts of ships and other artifacts they ultrasound clean these items, I've seen it done but it takes a process of steps and I see how it might work on removing corrosion on risers and manifolds.Chek out this process on line and you might get some info on how to set up this process. I beleive it also has some electrical process thats also involved. I know that it doe's work. Island Boy"

"why not just get new ones...with a $6K outdrive, a couple hundred for risers should be cheap insurance for the engine I say..."
