u joint cross cap bearings for ksp 429 p -

Hi All,
Not a good Monday,
I need to replace the cap bearings in my 2 crosses - u joints.
They were made in usa - on the cap it has a # 3 then on other end of cap it has# 0 and above that it tooks like an E. on the cross- USA ksn
9 with # 429 with a p stamped between the ksn and the # 429 Any ideas about how to figure out where to get the needle bearings?

The crosses do not have a grease fitting- Can bearings be installed on this type u joint/ cross/ cap

The major part that you are talking about is called a "Bearing Cross"! (aka "U-joint" in a misnomer fashion)

The needle bearing surface is the trunion OD and the bearing cap ID.
These are not to be interchanged, replaced, etc.
Once they begin to develop a wear pattern, the story begins and eventually ends.

Instead, replace the entire "Bearing Cross" (both of them) and give yourself some Peace of Mind.

I called Spicer and the bearing cross- u joints #5-1306x are now # 5-789x and I am getting these =peace of mind--- thanks
