Two stoke oil

Is there a difference between the oil for an outboard and a snowmobile? I was looking at them yesterday, and both are TC W3 approved/certified.

If you like your sled as I do mine, use manufactures oil in it.

Good article fdgator, you could compare the Sea Doo engine to a sled engine. Actually, I'm thinking of going the other way, and using sled oil in my Evinrude 200XP for a couple of tanks. It's almost time to park the boat for the year, but not quite. I don't want to open a gallon of marine oil for the amount I'll need, and have it around all winter. On the other hand, if I open a gallon of snowmobile oil, it will be used in the next while.
