Twin 2000 Honda 130 F-Stroke - What Props do you recomend.

I recently purchased a 2000 World Cat 246 with Twin Honda 130 HP.
It has the standard Honda Stock 3 Blade Prop.

At Full Throttle the engine only hits about 4K RPMs.

For the 2000 Honda 130 HP Four Stroke what is the Max RPM?

have any of you guys that have 130 HP tried other Props to get better Performance or Fuel Burn?

The 130's should be in the 5500 rpm range. That is assuming that the engines are in good condition. Good compression, etc.

Are you trimming the motors up, once on plane? I do not mean to offend you with the question, but I once had a customer, who had many years of boating experience, who had twin 130's on his new Hydrasport with the same problem.

We finally took the boat out and it ran great. After talking more with the customer, he indicated that he was not trimming the motors up.

There is no "stock prop for the 130". Each boat installation requires different props based on the full throttle rpm.

Do you know what size props you are using now?

If someone with the same boat configuration does not jump in, I highly recommend contacting World Cat directly. If you tell them your boat vin number, they should be able to tell you what prop you should be using.
