"Just a thought, but has anyone tried to fit a turbo setup from a b230ft (volvo 7-series turbo) onto the marine long block such that you'd be using the turbo head, cam, fuel injection, *modified turbo exhaust manifold, etc?
It seems like it'd be doable, granted it would be difficult to get everything together and any necessary fabrication.
The only concern would be the compression of the normally aspirated AQ added with forced induction implies tough life for engine bearings but I believe it could be done if you run a conservative boost. I'd say a respectable 175 HP and dramatic torque increase.
I know I'm not the first with this idea, so anyone else feel free to share your sentiment."
