hello yes would like to know what the ajustment screw's
r suppose to be set at on a m40c tohatsu motor anyone ?
thx it's for a 89 m40c

If you are referring to the pilot needle screw, that would start at about 1-3/4 turns out from lightly seated, and then adjust while running as per the factory service manual.

If you went through the carb, it would be a good idea to go through the whole tuning procedure, including link and sync. The Factory service manual, available from any dealer (including me) is well worth the price, and a ton better than the aftermarket manuals.
