trying to identify my dad's old Johnson motor

I would appreciate any help in identifying my dad's Johnson motor. The I.D. tag reads as follows. MOD. No. CJ10RESC . The SER. No. is R 08616277 .Is the 77 the year model? I do know it is a 9.9 H.P. .Thanks for any help.
