Trying to identify Johnson 85 or 115

I recently acquired a Johnson 85 or 115. It has a 115 cowl but has 85 in the model number. I'm having trouble with the model and serial numbers with trying to get new parts. I'm coming up empty handed. The model is 85799s and serial is j0005987. Can someone just give me a model I can use to cross reference it or something. Thanks alot! Jon

85799S is a 1977 85hp Evinrude

Exactly where are you getting that model number from? There should be a small metal plate attached to the port transom bracket with the model and serial numbers. There may also be a quarter size core plug (Looks like a small freeze out plug) on the powerhead with those same numbers imprinted.

1977 85hp is really all I needed I reckon. The trim motor has gone out and I'm looking for a replacement. Thanks a bunch!
