Trouble identifying a motor, help needed

Hello, guys!

My dad has had a Mercury 4.5HP motor for a couple of years and now needs to buy new motor segments, 50.5mm in diameter. The trouble is that we can't find a (valid) identifying code for this motor, as we're not sure on the production year nor model. I'm attaching a couple pictures in case anyone is willing to take a look and possibly recognize the beast :

Thank you in advance!

Your are going to have to make it tougher :)

Your serial is in the second last pic you have posted -

9073244 is a valid serial for a 1975 Merc 4.5 horse, single cylinder model built by Merc in Belgium.

I thought this might be the serial number, but this site said it wasn't:

just checking if yours in this range of serial numbers. You need to look up merc parts using the serial number.

Yup this shoud hook you up.

It's great.

Thanks, guys! a shame I'll pay more for S&H than for the parts though. :D

Being a "Belgian" serial you don't always get a listing on US sites. But official Merc sites list both (US/Belgium). You don't run into trouble unless you are looking up an Aussie or Canadian serial - then it get's interesting :)
