Trouble codes 14

Got high iac numbers and power reduction but no codes checked ECM seems good and got a 14 code briefly bu never returned 2002 5.7 mpi any ideas?

A more detailed description surely would be of benefit....at idle, in gear, rpm range where performance is lacking, etc...

"...power reduction..." due to the ECU (ECU entered the power reduction strategy) or just the engine lacks power due to one or more anomolies?

A 14 points to the ECT sensor....maybe scan all the input sensors for accurate inputs - within the min and max but not reflecting reality. (like the engine is warmed up and the ECT shows 100 degrees - within expected range but way too low).
