I have a 2002 Evinrude 150 Ficht and the trim switch doesn't work all the time. Last August I had to replace a control board (?) at a price of $600+. When I pulled the boat out to prepare for the summer I installed the battery and tried the trim switch located on the motor housing and things worked. A short time later I went to lower the motor and the trim did not work. Removing the motor cover I replaced the relays but nothing changed. Checking wire connections it appears there may be something lose along one of the many wires. If you position things just right, hold your breath, cross fingers, and stand on one foot the trim may work. Any suggestions?
