I am quite new to boating and am encountering a problem on a mariner 225 ,3.0l carb trim tilt system. I have dismantled trim tilt for painting and replacement of seals. After assembly trim pistons are working but when fully extended tilt piston will not continue opening. Motor sound changes as if tilt piston is fully extended. Down and up on trim cylinders works fine. Anyone has any idea on what could possibly be the problem?
