Trim/tilt problem

Have 1992 evinrude 150hp ob, my problem is I manually lower the motor and did not fill the reservoir with oil. Now it will not go up, it's like if it was stuck on something. I even try using a car jack, please help and thank you

Have you tried the manual release valve located in the hole on the starboard(right) transom bracket? Just a couple of turns don't try to unscrew it all the way out. Good luck

If it is a '92 the manual release valve is on the port side. Model # ????

My bad, on mine (88) it is on the starboard side when did they change?

Have try that. I release the manual screw and it's not working. Something is holding it down

They changed the position of the manual release in '91 when they came out with the Fast-Track T/T.

Update, I finally found s way to do it. I took the manual release valve out and it release air that was trap inside. Then used a 6 ton jack to tilt the motor up. It was a pain in the butt, but finally is up. Tomorrow will start filling with oil and see if it's working or not. Thks for the help
