" My Evinrude 40hp outboard pi

" My Evinrude 40hp outboard picked up an old piece of fishnet around the prop. In doing so, the trim tab was moved to one side. The trim tab is part #332475 stamped on it. It has 0 through 6 setting marks on it. I set it on 4, (trial & error) and it steers ok but not perfect. Is there a default setting or is it different for each motor? Thanks for any help. "

" Just depends on the boat, motor, and other influences.
If it wants to torgue to the right, move a bit more to starboard. Or vice-versa.
Until it track nice and true on its own.
