"I just picked up a 78 Thompson 22' cuddy for free. It has no motor or interior, but no big deal there I will be putting my merc 470 setup in her for now. It came with the trim tabs hanging off the back, but the guy said the controls and pump were stolen. Looking at the price of the pumps I got shocked a little. Looking at them they seem very close (other than the fittings) to the standard marine trim pumps. Is there a difference in them, or can I use a power trim pump for the system. I have a spare one ,aying around.
