"Another bad case of dumb stru

"Another bad case of dumb struck our household over the weekend. #1 son comes to the old man, "Hey pop, we're running the Smoker craft without a trim tab for the time being", "Oh yea? Why's that", "Well I forgot to put the bolt in the hole before I reassembled the lower unit. Now it's full of oil etc". The old man generally works on the outboards so I don't have any work arounds. Are there any?

"you could drill the hole bigger so it will drop in. if you do, use the allen head type bolt.(it's smaller)"
