trim system fluid?

i was just going to ask how to bleed the system (alpha drive with two trim pistons) but i see that question was just asked, so now what type of fluid can be used in these systems, looking for the aftermarket alternatives, like possibly power steering fluid or trans fluid

Ayuh,.... or even light weight motor oil....

I replaced my Trim oil with mobil 1 about 5 years ago. I monitor it looking for it to start clouding up which would indicate oil intrusion. Still clear after all these years. Al W.
