I ordered a trim shunt p/n 764590 from this site. Is is used to send power to the tilt sensor so that trim position signal can be read by the NMEA 2000 network, in my case a Lowrance LMF 400 head. I have the engine interface and the LMF reads many engine functions and has a display for the % trim. the shunt should allow it to be energized. The shunt is contained in a grey rectangular female connector with two mail prongs inside. There is a black loop on the back side. I believe it is a 43 ohm 5 watt resistor.

Not sure where the mating plug might be, on the engine or the command box. I think this to mimic a trim gauge. Any suggestion are appreciated. I understand that the dealer has to calibrate once installed.

Thanks, Mike
