"Hello, I have a 1987 trophy with a omc out drive. It has a 305 v8. the problem i am having is the wire has broken on the trim sensor, everyone i contact tells me the part is not avilable.Can i bypass or somthing please help thanks"

"Carmen....if you don't have a gauge then don't waste your money on a sender. The trim sender has nothing to do with starting your engine, there is no safety switch to prevent you from starting with it in a raised position. The only safety switch is in the gearshift control box which will only allow you to satrt when it's in neutral."
