Trim sender

I have a 1989 Evenrude 150. The stock trim sender is a 0583358, no longer available. Does anyone know of a replacement sender? Seems to me, most of the Evenrude and Johnsons use the same mounting brackets, so why wouldn't the senders be the same? I've come up with a quite a few senders that look the same, with different part numbers. Anyone know? The only reason I'm doing this is I installed all new gauges and I'm there.
 
Put in a water pressure gauge instead ...

But seriously. I probably have some V4 senders laying around. Dunno if they're the same. Can you post a pic?
 
Sometimes they change the length of the wires.----or the connecters on the wires.---That changes the part #------Your dealer can assist you !
 
I don't have a sender at all. I took a shot and bought a 583361 on ebay, but the ohm resistance was way off. I also checked a friends on a used mount he bought, but that one was out of spec also. The service manual, and a Tec from the gauge company say it should read from zero to 88 ohms, 88 being down, zero being up. Do you know the part numbers of the ones you have?
