Trim Sender/Limiter grease points

Hey so I am pretty new to boating and was trying to do some maintenance on my sterndrive. I have a 1986 fourwinns with a mercruiser 140 horse 3.0 liter and an alpha 1 gen 1 stern drive. My question is there is a grease zerk on the trim sender and limiter and was wondering how to know when there is enough grease in there? I pumped some marine grease in but grease was coming out the back of it (See attached pic) so hoping I didn't burst a seal or something. Thanks in advance for any help and for having patience with a new boater!

Those two get about 1/2 shot of grease. If you put to much it will push on the pucks and could damage them.
The one at 4:00 for the gimble bearing gets 10+ shots

Those aren't for the sender/limiter, they're for the pivots. They happen to lube the switches too, but it's not the main function of those grease fittings.
