"I have just installed a NEW trim pump motor assembly, valves and reservoir, for my 1995 Alpha 1 Gen 2, the new unit works OK, but when I operate it in the down mode it makes a squealing noise, and in the up mode its nice and quite. The noise is not constant, comes and goes as its going down..

Does anyone know what is causing this??"
 
May be air in the system. Che

May be air in the system. Check the oil level and run the OD up/down 5-10 times. Wait 1 minute between each run for motor to cool a little.
