Trim oil yellow and frothy

replaced trim fluid three time

replaced trim fluid three times pumped it out before first launch it still is yellow and frothy can a defective pump be causing this or is it definitely water in mix? alpha 1 gen 2

What made you change it? Did you keep the reservior full while pumping it out? Take a turkey baster and pull some out of the reservior and put it in a tall shot glass; cover w/plastic wrap and let it sit overnite to see if water settles out. If there is water then you have a leaking cylinder or hose.

If there is no water then you have been pumping air when the reservior is low. Go thru the "air bleed" process in the manual; too lengthy to explain it.

Frothy fluid can come from water contamination or air being pumped. When you replaced fluid, did you completely flush the cylinders and the reservoir bowl so that only fresh fluid was in the system. You may have to bleed the cylinders and lines to be sure air is out of system, but usually a few cycles up and down gets the air out if air is the only problem."
