I have a 2004 J40plsrs 40hp Johnson outboard that needs a new trim motor.
i pulled out the old one and it has a slot drive.
I ordered a new trim motor and it arrived but it has a hex drive.

the above is the parts diagram for my engine and number 39 is the trim pump. 0437801 is the part number.
But the 0437801 does not come with a slotted drive only the hex drive. Does any one have any suggestions?
