"My trim motor will not lift the motor. It sounds like it wants to but nothing happens. Is this a hydraulic fluid issue and if so, how do I get at it with the motor down? Is there a way to release it manually?"

"There are 2 relays, one for up and one for down. Take the cover off the engine. The relays are located towards the back of the engine. Swap the relays. If the motor will now go up but not down, it is a relay issue."
