Today, I was working on a 2006 115 4 stroke, and had a trim gauge issue. The male part of the sender was not positioned correctly to match the female slot on the pin. If I lined them up and screwed it on, it would show 3/4 on the gauge when it was fully trimmed up, and said it was fully down on the gauge but the motor still had, more downward movement.
Was looking at maybe the gauge needs to be made after 2001, according to Bell's ordering of trim gauges. Would that make a difference, or am I missing something.
