Trim and Tilt 1989 225hp

Hello

trying to replace my t/t on my johnson225,1989,got all the bolt out except the large center bolt with the nut on both ends. Is their a secret to getting it out or any tips would be helpful.

I assume that you're saying that the bolt/pin is frozen in place? If so, heat the aluminum surrounding that bolt/pin with a hand help propane torch that has a blow torch type tip. The aluminum will expand somewhat, hopefully allowing the removal of that item.

Have a fire extingusher and a garden hose handy just in case. Always a good idea to have the hose turned on .
