Hi, just tested the trigger on my miss-firing / down on power 60HP Mercury two stroke.
These are the readings:
Brown and White/ Black = 0.816k OHMS (816 OHMS)
White and White/Black = 0.536k OHMS (536 OHMS)
Violet and White/Black = 1.206k OHMS (1,206 OHMS)
The figures in the repair manual for my motor are 1100-1400 OHMS. Are we fair to surmise that my Trigger is faulty?
What do the brown, white and violet wires control, is it one per coil / cylinder or high and low speed timing?
