Newbee Hi Got and 1983 mercury 115 inline need to replace triger I alread got flywheel and stater off What is my next step / how to remove triger thanks got boat from boat angle's for $235. been sitting for 8 year replaced some floor and installed new carpet got alother things orking but no spark replace stator and rec/ get get spark thru,switchout

want to go fishing Charlie<br>

did you remove the flywheel with a merc puller or the ring of 1/2 bolts around the center hub???

p.s disconnect the black wire with yellow stripe from the switch box this is the kill circuit..

Yes for flywheel is off and i have removed stator

It will snake out of there after the linkage and wiring is removed. Be sure to remember how you did it so you can put another one back on!

Thank for the help got new triger install but still not getting al 6 sparking. new stotor new rec, new triger, tested uper switchbox need to know firing order.
