Just picked up a creampuff ESK

Just picked up a creampuff ESKA 7 hp. Will it be too long on the back of my jonboat? The motor is 26" from the transom mount to bottom of skeg.
My transom is 14".

"Brinwood, You need to measure from the transom mount to the antiventilation plate. That is the "true" shaft length. If it is 14-15" it is the correct one for you. If it is longer, it is likely the motor was intended to be a sailboat aux. powerplant."
