Is there a bit, tool or tools of choice for chamfering these holes.
Im stuck at Drill 3/16'' pilot hole,, enlarge to 1/2'' hole for the carriage bolt then use a 3/4'' bit to chamfer hole for the O-ring.
Please correct my bad idea.
BTW this is a new transom, 77 24 beachcraft was a omc stringer soon to be a VP 280 that I removed off a bayliner that had flat hole no taper for the o-rings.
In other words you could put a flat washer in the hole so i cant find a proper weapon to mimic what should be there.
