Transom seal?

I'm replacing bottom two bolts on transom, Alpha Gen1. Wondering how to seal them? They have the square shoulder and zincs on the outside. Looks to me like if water leaks by the bolt it will leak into boat? Or is the fit in assembly good enough. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

I put some sealant on the bolt where it meets the transom.

Thanks, seems like whenever I had one out in the past, they where dry. Never crossed my mind that they are inside seal area.

usually the anode bolts corrode away and need replacement, and that can only be done with the motor removed.
