I would like to know how to size the transmission cooler for my Paragon P21L. The one I have right now is 6" long with 3/4 Id tubes for the water. I have to change it to accomodate a larger size inlet. Since most of the plumbing on this boat was makeshift at best I am assuming that the oil cooler is probably some thing stuck there without any thought. I found an old manual for the transmission but it doesn't say much about it. Anybody have an idea on how to proceed? Is more better? My engine is a 280hp big block chevy.
