Hi i have a 9.8 hp engine
it stopped suddenly the engine is running but the water pump isnt and i have no drive has any one an idea what it is or an assembly drawing of the drive train from the engine down

I would say the spline on the

I would say the spline on the top of the drive shaft has rusted away / stripped . The spline in the crankshaft is likely bad too.Common problem.So take the 2 nuts of to remove the lower unit for inspection.If you still have oil in the lower unit the splines are the likely issue.
