Tower of Power compression question

So i got this 'free' motor with a speed boat i just bought. It's a 1973 Mercury 1150 inline 6. After cleaning up the electrical connections, i got to crank. Cylinder 3 shows 105 psi, while all others are 130-135. Obviously not a happy motor, but will it run like that enough to enjoy a little bit? I know I've driven 6 or 8 cyl cars with dead cylinders without much issue. Is it just gonna run a little rough or I should i not bother trying to run it?

The problem could be due to ring sticking or seizing, remove the middle intake port and look at the piston. If it looks OK and the rings are aren't springy try spraying it with PowerTune and run it.
I had an acquaintance that had that problem, he switched to synthetic oil at 50:1 and the comp. went up to normal.

Agreed take a look through the intake bypass cover.-----It is likely a motor than can be rebuilt now.----If you run it and it goes ---Bhooomm ----You might have to scrap it.-----And before you ask there is no head gasket on that motor.
