"30lb-ft for the intake, done

"30lb-ft for the intake, done in correct sequence and by 10lb-ft at a time.
20lb-ft for the exhaust; they will need to be retightened after the first cool down.
Not sure on valve covers, i do this by feel, and cork will tend to also need a retorque.
1/2 of the valves are set at cyl 1 TDC, the other half at cyl 6 TDC. At the fully closed valve position, with loose rocker nuts, grab by hand the push rod. Note when the rod will not spin by hand while you tighten the rocker nut. Then, give the nut one more turn. That's it. Cold engine, not running!"

"Valve covers are 50 in #, not

"Valve covers are 50 in #, not Ft #. You may also consider a small dab of removable loctite on each valve cover bolt.

for the rockers - for #1 at TDC on its compression stroke, standard rotation, adjust EXH on 1-3-4-8 then intake 1-2-5-7
spin crank 360 degrees, now #6 TDC & adjust
EXH on 2-5-6-7 then INT on 3-4-6-8."
