Torque spec for clamp ring.

Hi,I am looking for the clamp ring torque spec. I have a aq271/290dp.

"Clamping ring" generally refers to the six bolt flywheel cover-to-transom shield clamping ring.
Is this the ring and are these the bolts that you are asking about?

SEQ #s 67 and 69 shown here?

These are a galvanized carbon steel grade #5, 3/8" NC "tap" bolt.
Most charts will list 23 ft lb.

Water Proof Grease the threads...... both male and female.

Does 5200 marine sealant work ok for this application?

Are you asking about sealing the inboard rubber cushion ring?

The inboard ring does the water sealing. No sealant is required.

Be sure to go through the triangulation engine alignment procedure.

No....... 5200 would not be a good choice.
I would use a water proof grease, or if in salt water, I'd use Perfect Seal.

And these are "tap" bolts....... (no shank that is not threaded).
