torque directions

Have a 1977 70 hp Johnson outboard motor that I need torque directions for

Most always torque from the center out in at least three steps to spec. Never use gasket maker on head gaskets on most other gaskets I use permatex aviation. I never use silicone anywhere on a boat engine.
