The alum. prop is 14 1/4 x 21...I want more top end. right now trimmed out, I'm @46 MPH and 4800 RPM. Can I get better top speed by switching to a stainless prop,maybe with different pitch???}"

"From given prop dia, I guess You are running an SX drive. What in that case might give the best top end would be an OMC Raker, but You would have to switch hub to Volvo, different splines, and block the exhaust relief holes. I guess a 22 pitch might do it."

"The prop itself has relief holes in front of the blades which have to be plugged. Alu props above 19" pitch have never been my favorite, they flex too much in the blades. How much to 'gain' is impossible to say without testing, but You might be able to switch Miles with Knots."
