I have a 200hp evinrude and it

I have a 200hp evinrude and it is smoking at low idle..Runs fine at high speed...It is using 2x the oil..Do I need to replace the entire fuel pump assembly?

The short answer is: probably not. An air leak in the fuel line between the fuel tank and the VRO pump is far more likely than a bad VRO pump.

A 2 stroke should smoke at idle.And how did you determine the 2X oil?
 
I do seem to have trouble keep

I do seem to have trouble keeping the fuel primer bulb up..If I sit for a while fishing (4Hours) I have to pump it up..

The oil comsumption was based on usually 2 quarts for 1/4 tank..I added 5 quarts this trip..

Checked the plugs..Not fouled.. Oil laying in carbs..

Heavy smoke at low idle...
